PRIVATE PILOT LICENSE CERTIFICATE PPL(A)/(H)

A- AEROPLANE, H-HELICOPTER

A Private Pilot License PPL (A) (H) is intended for individuals without previous experience who want to fly unpaid for sports or leisure purposes.
This course also serves as a basis for later obtaining other licenses and ratings such as Commercial Pilot CPL (A) (H) and Airline Transport Pilot ATPL (A).

PREREQUISITES:

PPL (A) - 

  • 16 years old before the first flight and 17 years old by the time the license is issued.

  • Class 2 Medical Certificate (The school will provide students with contact information for approved healthcare centres).

PPL (H) -

  • Be at least 16 years old.

  • ID / Passport.

  • Class 2 Medical Certificate.

  • Any other additional requirements set by AESA-State Agency for Aviation Safety.

DURATION:

PPL (A) - From 4 to 6 months, depending on the student’s learning time and availability.

PPL (H) - The approximate duration of the course is about 5 months, although it will be based on the student ́s availability and weather conditions. Likewise, if the applicant already holds a flight licence (airplane, fixed-wing aircraft, glider, etc.), the duration of the course may be reduced.

VFR NIGHT RATING CERTIFICATE (A)

he main objective of the course is to train the applicant to fly safely and efficiently according to visual flight rules in night conditions.

PREREQUISITES:

  • Hold at least one PPL(A) issued in accordance with ICAO Annex 1

  • Single Engine Piston (SEP) class rating

  • Medical Certificate as per MED. (The school will provide students with a contact to authorized medical centres).

DURATION:

It will depend on the student’s learning time and availability.

COMMERCIAL PILOT LICENSE CERTIFICATE CPL(A)/(H)

A- AEROPLANE, H-HELICOPTER

A commercial pilot license, is a qualification that permits the holder to act as a pilot of an aircraft and be paid for his/her work.

PREREQUISITES:

CPL (A) - 

  • Be at least 18 years old at the time the official exam is taken.

  • Class 1 Medical Certificate (The school will provide students with contact information for authorized medical centres).

  • Hold at least one PPL(A) issued in accordance with ICAO Annex 1.

  • Single Engine Piston (SEP) class rating

  • Hold the VFR-N rating issued in accordance with ICAO Annex 1.

  • Having completed 150 flight hours, 100 of which should be as pilot on command.

CPL (H) -

  • Be at least 17 years old.

  • Valid ID/Passport.

  • Class 1 medical exam (Class 1)

  • Being able to pass qualifying Math, Physics and English exams to ensure the understanding of the theoretical knowledge which will be given.

  • Additional requirements may be established by AESA-State Agency for Aviation Safety.

DURATION:

CPL (A) - The duration of the course will be 12 to 14 months and will depend on the availability of the students.

CPL (H) - The duration of the course will be 12 to 18 months and will depend on the availability of the students.

AIRLINE TRANSPORT PILOT LICENSE CERTIFICATE ATPL (A) THEORETICAL (DISTANCE LEARNING AND PRESENT)

This course is intended for individuals who have previously acquired a Private Pilot License and who want to work professionally as Airline Transport Pilots by completing the additional requirements separately.

PREREQUISITES:

  • Be at least 18 years old at the time the official exam is taken.

  • Hold at least one PPL(A) issued in accordance with ICAO Annex 1.

  • Good command of the English language.

  • Hold a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, with a basic understanding of math and physics before beginning the course.

DURATION:

The course lasts approximately 9 months.

INSTRUMENT RATING CERTIFICATE IR+PBN (A)

Instrument rating refers to the qualifications that a pilot must have in order to fly under IFR (Instrument Flight Rules). It requires additional training and instruction beyond what is required for a Private Pilot certificate including rules and procedures specific to instrument flying, additional instruction in meteorology, and more intensive training in flight solely by reference to instruments.

PREREQUISITES:

  • To have successfully passed the theoretical exams for the CPL/ATPL.

  • Class 1 Medical Certificate (The school will provide students with contact information for authorized medical centres).

  • Hold at least one PPL(A) or a CPL(A) issued in accordance with ICAO Annex 1.

  • Hold the VFR-N rating issued in accordance with ICAO Annex 1.

  • Have completed 50 hours of cross-country flight as a pilot in command of which 10 hours must be in the relevant aircraft category.

  • Have the required proficiency in English to communicate in English.

DURATION:

The duration of the course will be 3 to 4 months and will depend on the availability of the students.

PREREQUISITES:

  • Hold at least one PPL(A) issued in accordance with ICAO Annex 1.

  • Single Engine Piston (SEP) class rating

  • Medical Certificate as per MED. (The school will provide students with a contact to authorized medical centres).

  • The applicant’s experience. To determine this, the ATO shall evaluate the pilot’s previous experience, and if deemed necessary by the Head of Training (HT), conduct a one-hour flight test on an actual aircraft or an equivalent FSTD.

It will depend on the student’s learning time and availability.

MULTI-ENGINE RATING CERTIFICATE MEPL (A)

Transition from flying single engine to multi engine airplanes, a very desirable addition to their ratings for someone looking for an airline career. Discover the new systems and procedures involved on operating a twin engine airplane.

  • Class 1 Medical Certificate (The school will provide students with contact information for authorized medical centres).

  • Hold at least one PPL(A) or a CPL(A) issued in accordance with ICAO Annex 1.

  • Having completed 70 flight hours as a pilot on command.

DURATION:

The duration of the course will be 2 to 3 weeks and will depend on the availability of the students.

MULTI-CREW COOPERATION CERTIFICATE MCC (A)

This course is intended for CPL (A) Commercial Pilot license holders who wish to obtain an MCC Rating, which is a requirement for access to any airline. This course is taught by pilots who are currently flying within a crew.

PREREQUISITES:

  • Commercial Pilot License CPL (A)

  • MEP (Land) rating for multi-engine aircraft.

  • IR (A) rating for instrument flight.

DURATION:

The duration of the course will be 2 to 3 weeks and will depend on the availability of the students.
